Carly for BMW Pro (Old Vers.) App Reviews

This app + adapter is awesome!! It enables you to diagnose and clear codes from many modules in the car. And a big plus is the ability to pick custom options in lighting, locks, seatbelt, hvac etc. Worth every penny.

I could not be more satisfied with the Pro Carly version! The ease of use and functionality make this a "must have" BMW owners accesory.

I purchased Carly for BMW Pro and its battery registration and service reset apps. Used both to register a new battery and reset a service light on my 2011 Z4. Worked great! Also bought the Carly wifi IOS adapter, it works exactly as advertised. Parameter monitoring in real time is very helpful. App is very easy to use. Going to also try it out on my BMW 328i soon as well. Recommend this app!

Coded my 2016 F30 It works flawlessly if you follow all the simple steps. Customer Support is superb!

Easy to use but needs NBT idrive coding.

I was able to easily connect to my e46 with the gen 2 adapter and code off my DRLs. Great work Carly team. I do with I could turn voltage monitoring off for the rear o2 sensors though.

I use it on my 2015 BMW 228XI and very easy to use and do coding. Its amazing and great work. HIGHLY RECOMMEND 5stars!!!

I used Carly yesterday to code about 15 different settings on my 2013 BMW X1. I disabled the iDrive pronpt, enabled video while moving, HVAC settings restore, saving auto start-stop setting, and many others. Everything I did worked very well: read diagnostic codes, used car check, module coding, etc. I purchased the iDrive and Service Reset in-app items as well. The WiFi OBD interface and Carly app work well together; much easier to use than NCS Expert and INPA on a PC! The UI of Carly app is very plain and needs visual improvement; it looks like a demo app rather than a production retail app. I am a software developer, so I am sensisitive to that. The functionality of the Carly app work just fine though. Many BMW owners on the Internet forums talk about how well it works and it is easy to use. It saved them hundreds of dollars by avoiding dealer service visits.

much easier to use than PC-based alternatives. backup function could be better - backup locally and save with vehicle name, date, time, vin, etc. Some functions are not yet well explained / documented in the app help, especially coding where two options have the same description. hope the app keeps going and gets better!

This review will be changed to five stars once they fix the ability to in-app purchase battery registration. As it is now, first it only lets you choose to purchase immediately after installing the app, once you close the app it will just say "checking iTunes" until you delete it and reinstall. Second, when you do get the option after a fresh install, no matter what model car you select, it tells you its not compatible with battery register and hence does not let you purchase. I know my e82 is compatible because it was in past updates so please FIX THIS PROBLEM. I currently have a new AGM H8 battery in my car that I cant register!!!!!!!

This app is great always have updates with new features. Worth the money instead of paying someone for coding your car. One thing would be nice if they added a coding to deactivate the TPS light

App works with adapter which plugs into OBD port. Every option advertised is working for me. I was able to code 2 of my cars E90 and F15.

I normally use ncs expert, this app cant do as much but it is very simple to use, and does the basic coding most people wants, I hope more updates will be available soon with more functions available, I would recomend it to people that want to do some simple but cool coding on their BMW.

This app is great. It gives you the freedom to make functional and interface changes to your ride without taking it to the dealer. All the coding changes I have made work as advertised.

Simple and easy to use. I was quickly able to read and then clear trouble codes. Havent tried coding yet but looking at the screens, it looks very simple and straight forward.

Awesome customer service and product. Was told the S65 engine parameters were being worked on and response times for emails are amazing. Thanks for a great app.

The app works great for e90 and e60 BMWs. It even was able to read and clear a mystery Airbag fault that other premium non-BMW readers could not clear. I am very impressed.
