Im very impressed with the amount of stuff this app does and there will be updates to make it even better. Todays cars are overwhelmed with computer controls. This is the future of car diagnosis/control!!!

Works just as advertised. I had problems but my problems were entirely due to user error. Love it.

I purchased the Carly App over a year ago. This app is a great tool for anyone who wants to enable additional features on their BMW. With a simple coding interface, users can easily make changes to their car. One of the more useful options to code is the ability to roll up your windows and sun roof by pressing and holding the lock buttion on the Key Fob. (see app for full list of coding options for your E series or F-Series car) Another great feature allows you to register a new battery to the car. BMW requires that the battery voltage info be stored in its computer to ensure proper charging with the alternator. The dealer normally charges $100 or more to have a new battery registered. That feature alone will pay for the app and the OBD2 wireless reader. The OBD2 dongle can be purchased on Amazon. One last feature that makes this app even more useful is the ability to read fault codes. You can easily figure out what the check engine light means and find other fault codes related to headlight/tailight bulbs or other advanced BMW systems installed in your car. I applaud the creators of the Carly app. They continually add features and have recently added help documents and support for F series cars.

Awesome user friendly app with excellent customer support who respond promptly to emails.

Must have app for a DIY car owner. Allows you to read codes and clear them. App also allows for some coding for convenience functions - lighting, door lock, etc. I also just purchased the ability to reset service intervals. Easy to use - I also bought their wifi OBD interface so it works seamlessly with iPhone

Do not buy if you will be registering an R60 Mini Cooper battery. It has the button to register the battery, but prompts you it is not yet available! Mario Ramirez.

Works great on my 335d. I was able to modify what the lock button and open button on the key fob does. Also, I was able to register a new AGM battery and easily reset the rear brake light service indicator light (in-App purchase of 10 and 5 bucks, respectively). DPF regen is still not supported on the 335d, will be in the future with an update.

I love the app it has helped tons so far! I would love to have some more advanced coding available as well for the E82! Some popular coding options would be Coding for adding heated seats for those that do not have heated seats and want to add heated seats with all the necessary hardware and being able to code it would be amazing! This app is "mostly" my one stop shop for coding and it has all of the popular coding options! Keep up the good work guys!

Great App for the DIYer looking to do dealer level coding and Diagnostics. A great feature would be to reset the Oil Service for certain models although most can be done via the Instrument Cluster.

This app is superlative in addressing the complex electronic computerized communications intrinsic to our "Ultimate Driving Machines." The ability to communicate more closely with the machine that strives to be an extension of our will, is phenomenal. Well done. Any BMW owner would be infinitely suited to use this App to allow a real time interface to communicate with the machine that they so rely upon and enjoy for the feedback and interaction that is in its essence what BMW stands for.

I bought this app and adapter in order to do some coding on the go. I am really good with the Expert tools that require a computer and I still use this adapter to cut my coding times in half. Now that iDrive coding is possible, this app is money. You have nothing to lose, you can make your money back by coding basic features for other people who are just looking for one time coding. Highly recommend.

Fantastically easy to use, great support from the developers, codes almost everything I could want. Video In Motion is now active!!!! So great and so easy!!! I am so happy I got this rather than coding with NCS expert. One click and its coded the way I want. Do you want your windows and sunroof to close with the remote? Click comfort close. Thats it! Do you want the car to turn off, eject the key and unlock with one long press of the start/stop button? One click and its done. Do you want your mirrors to fold in (assuming you have power mirrors) when you lock your car with the remote? One click and your done. So fantastic! I cant wait for the radio coding scan be done so I can use my universal snap-in adaptor with my iPhone 6s. I just love it!!

Carly for BMW is a simple but powerful tool. Very easy to use. The WIFI hardware connects quickly and easily. Now you can change those default setting to make your BMW respond the way you want. Great product.

I ask for help..their respond was direct to a boilerplate faq...not even relate to my question. I gave a 04 BMW 645...it wouldnt write the code to the CAS MODULE. ...keep getting error. If you need diagnostic software ...get other app that less expensive

Works flawless! Worth every penny!

Before you spend any money on this app do your research. They force you to purchase their adapter which is very expensive. I installed the app then they ask me to send them my diagnostics results only to tell you that they cant do anything for you without their expensive adapter. I wouldnt mind paying more for an app that actually works. Instead your stuck with having to order more hardware from them. Overall great concept if they dont nickel and dime you.

Love this app. Makes coding simple for the non-coder, able to run/clear diagnostics, and reset service indicators (with in-app purchase). The customer service is top notch if you have any questions or issues. The app may cost a decent amount, but after one or two uses it pays for itself rather than paying someone else to do it for you.
